Even something as potentially catastrophic as climate change is producing winners as well as losers. Ordinary people can’t do anything about the worsening weather but, perhaps surprisingly,  individual investors can benefit from ‘tax-free returns’ boosted by these worrying trends. One share I own in this sector saw its price pop 12% higher on the day it announced good news for this enterprise, partly prompted by bad news for the environment. Oh well, we can’t win them all, and we might as well make the most of it while we are here.
